Fix or Ditch the Lieberman-Warner Global Warming Bill
The Congress has moved the Lieberman-Warner Climate Security Act of 2008 further than any other bill attempting to limit global warming pollution. While the effort to tackle global warming is welcome, the current draft of the bill is disappointing. We'd like you to help us raise the bar.
Tell your Senators to either fix the Lieberman-Warner bill, by scrapping the corporate pork and delivering needed pollution reduction targets, or ditch it. They need to know that the public would rather see leaders work toward a good bill than kick the ball down the road by passing a bad one.
