Friend,

Help us keep up the fight against the Keystone XL pipeline!

Breaking news today on the Keystone XL pipeline fight! The Obama administration just announced it will seek a new environmental review of the Keystone XL, which will delay and potentially end this dirty and dangerous tar sands pipeline.

President Obama is finally acknowledging what we've been saying for months -- that the State Department's review process is awash with big oil cronyism and corruption.

This is a game-changing testament to the power of committed grassroots activists like you who have bombarded the administration with comments and phone calls, and shown up in strong numbers time and again at rallies and hearings. Conventional wisdom had this as a fight we were sure to lose. Your efforts to take a stand against the Keystone XL have gotten the president's attention. Thank you!

Though this is welcome news, this fight is far from over. We still need your help to ensure that President Obama's call for a delay ultimately leads to rejecting the pipeline altogether. If the president acts in the best interest of the American people and our future by undertaking a truly independent, science-based review of the pipeline, he will have no choice but to deny TransCanada's permit application.

There's no time to rest now -- we're gearing up for this long-term fight for a stable climate, safe water, indigenous rights and landowner sovereignty. Together, we can make sure tar sands oil doesn't tip the balance towards catastrophic climate change. Together, we can say "no" to corporate polluters setting the agenda in Washington. Together, we can win.

Honored to stand with you in this fight,
Kim Huynh
