Protect an open Internet
This is a crucial time in the fight for Net Neutrality. A deal between Google and Verizon could kill Net Neutrality -- the notion that all data on the Internet deserves equal treatment, regardless of whether it comes from a giant corporation or an individual or small nonprofit group.
Important players in this fight need to hear from you. The FCC and Congress both have the power to protect Net Neutrality, via regulation and legislation respectively. Net Neutrality rollbacks could provide advantages to corporate polluters like Exxon, Massey Coal, and BP, and make it harder for groups like Friends of the Earth to mobilize activists and educate the public.
