Tell Congress to vote "no" on unfair trade agreements
Sensitive ecosystems damaged by mining and oil drilling. Environmental protections attacked by companies pursuing their "right" to make profits. Indigenous peoples displaced to make room for destructive palm oil plantations. These are all possible results of the the free trade agreements with Colombia, South Korea and Panama that are currently under consideration in Congress.
These deals would empower multinational corporations to make quick profits at the expense of the health of people and the planet. The U.S. pacts with all three countries would open the door to attacks on environmental protections by giving companies the right to seek compensation for complying with health and environmental regulations.
There is still time to stop these unfair trade deals. Tell your congressional delegation to vote "no" on the Colombia, South Korea and Panama trade agreements.
