About the GE Free Seafood Pledge:

Genetically engineered salmon is poised to enter the U.S. marketplace without adequate assessment and labeling and poses risks to human health, the environment, animal welfare and a sustainable future for fish. A group of 30 consumer, food safety, fishing, environmental, sustainable agriculture, parent, public health and animal health and welfare organizations are working together to ask chefs, restaurants and stores to avoid genetically engineered seafood products that raise unnecessary risks to the environment and wild fisheries.

Benefits of signing the GE-Free Seafood Pledge:

More than 4,000 grocery stores have already committed to not sell genetically engineered salmon and surveys show that 91% of consumers do not want to eat genetically engineered fish. Restaurants who sign the pledge below will be promoted in our press, publications and on our website. We can also work with you to highlight your participation and leadership in a way that is consistent with your values.
