Tell the USDA to reject GMO apples.

The USDA is poised to approve the first genetically modified apple.

Recently, thousands of people like you joined with us in calling on McDonald's and Gerber not to use GMO apples in their children's products. Our combined voices were so loud that the companies had no choice but to sit up an listen. And now they've confirmed to Friends of the Earth that they have no plans to sell this this risky, unnecessary, unlabeled apple.

But the USDA is not yet convinced and wants to know whether you think the GMO apple should be allowed to enter the market. We need your voice now.

The GMO Arctic Apple® is full of risks. And like other GMOs, it won’t be labeled and won’t have undergone independent safety testing -- regulators will rely on the company’s sole assessment that the apple is safe for human consumption.

But it’s not too late to keep GMO apples off our plates -- tell the USDA that the GMO Arctic Apple® should not be approved.
