Congress: Oppose Big Food’s DARK Act

A new bill to prevent mandatory labeling of GMO food was recently introduced in Congress, which many are calling the “Deny Americans the Right-to-Know Act,” or DARK Act. If passed, it would prohibit states from passing their own state-wide GMO labeling laws, prevent states from ensuring GMOs can’t be labeled as “natural” and would make “voluntary labeling” the continued federal standard.

Please send a message to your representative and ask him or her to oppose HR 4432 or any bill that would prohibit mandatory labeling of GMO food.
