Over the next few months, President Obama will decide whether it's in our national interest to let TransCanada build a pipeline to carry tar sands oil from Canada across America's heartland to refineries in Texas. The pipeline threatens our climate, the health of communities and clean water resources along its path, including the Midwest's biggest source of fresh water -- the Ogallala Aquifer.
On Friday, September 30, you have an opportunity to tell the State Department what you think about this pipeline by attending a public hearing in Midwest City.
Join other concerned Oklahomans in telling the State Department that the Keystone XL pipeline is not in the interest of communities or the climate.
