Come stand against coal exports in the Northwest
Massive coal export projects could be headed to our region if we don't stop it. If approved, the Millennium Bulk Terminals proposal in Longview, WA, would be the largest permitted coal export terminal in the United States, with plans to export 48.5 million tons of coal annually.
In addition to saying NO, this is your opportunity to provide input on what impacts you believe should be considered. There are a myriad of potential impacts from increased train and shipping traffic -- harm to our fragile marine eco-systems, global warming and more. What’s important is that you voice your concerns!
There are five hearings across the area. Please try to attend one near you -- we need as many people as possible to show our united opposition. Please select which hearing you'll be attending below. Each hearing runs from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and doors open at 4:00.
Let’s stand up against these dirty plans and demand a better, cleaner future for our children and our communities.
