Dear Friend,
I'm sure that by now you have heard news of the devastating earthquake that hit Haiti yesterday.
I have just received a message from Aldrin Calixte, the director of the Friends of the Earth group in the country, Haiti Survie. Aldrin reports that while he and his family are okay, several of his colleagues are unaccounted for and the Friends of the Earth office in Haiti has been destroyed.
We will reach out to you in coming weeks to let you know what the Friends of the Earth family in the United States can do to help get our sister organization up and running again, but at present, urgent humanitarian needs must be met.
Will you please consider joining me in making a contribution to one of the following organizations that can put your money to work immediately to provide food, water and medical care for earthquake victims?
