As a state-level regulator in Pennsylvania, Joseph Pizarchik was cozy with the dirty coal industry and made decisions that harmed the environment and threatened the safety of drinking water. Now Pizarchik has been nominated to the office responsible for regulating mountaintop removal permits. His nomination threatens to take us in the wrong direction.
