SIGN ON: DEMAND PROTECTIONS FOR IMPERILED GRIZZLY BEARS!

A dangerous anti-bear bill is threatening to STRIP Yellowstone grizzlies of their remaining federal protections under the Endangered Species Act (ESA) – and it could push grizzlies closer to the edge of EXTINCTION.

We can’t afford to do nothing while these attacks on grizzlies continue. As part of the world’s largest grassroots environmental network, Friends of the Earth Action will never abandon our wildlife or our planet. That’s why we need you to take IMMEDIATE action if we want to STOP this bill in its tracks and ensure that grizzly bear populations have a fair chance at survival.

I’m concerned about the continued legislative attacks on grizzly bears – most recently with H.R. 281, which seems to be an effort to prioritize the interests of trophy hunters over our planet and wildlife.

The passage of H.R. 281 would effectively go against science-backed evidence showing that these precious animals need safeguards and are not yet recovered – and could unleash a flurry of further massacres against this species.

I worry that without ESA protections, grizzlies might soon vanish forever.

As a U.S. Representative, it is your responsibility to put the best interests of our wildlife, communities and planet – the only one we’ll ever get – above powerful special interests like the trophy hunting lobby. I strongly urge you to oppose any legislation that attempts to jeopardize the recovery and survival of our grizzly bears. Please VOTE NO on H.R. 281.
