Tell Congress to protect endangered gray wolves from extinction!

Right before the holidays, Republican Senators introduced a bill that would remove Endangered Species Act protections for gray wolves, allowing hunters and ranchers to kill adult wolves and their pups.

There's still time to save them. But you have to act fast.

Dear Legislator,

I am writing to inform you of my deep concern about the potential delisting of the endangered gray wolf. As one of the most essential species for American ecosystems, the gray wolf needs to be protected or we could risk further environmental harm. Moreover, I’m greatly concerned that the removal of protections for this iconic species would occur for the gain of Big Ag and ranching interests rather than based on the recommendation of fact-based scientists. Congress is supposed to work for the people, not for corporations. Unfortunately, at every turn, it seems decisions or proposals are generated to benefit corporate interests, not us. Please stand up for people and the planet this decade instead of short-term profits.

In closing, I strongly insist that you maintain Endangered Species Act protections for the gray wolf and oppose S.3140.
