Demand Jordan Cove LNG pipeline be stopped for good!

Pembina, a Canadian fossil fuel corporation, is pushing the federal government to override a denied permit for the Jordan Cove LNG export terminal and fracked gas pipeline.

We need your help to push the government to stop this dirty, polluting pipeline for good.

Dear Acting Secretary Coggins,

I am writing to ask you to ensure Oregon’s Coastal Zone Management Act authority is upheld by rejecting Pembina’s request for an override of the State’s denial of the Jordan Cove LNG export terminal and Pacific Connector pipeline's federal consistency certification. Jordan Cove LNG is not good for Oregonians, our climate, and is not in the national interest.

Communities across Southern Oregon have united for over 15 years in opposition to the Jordan Cove LNG proposal because the project would undermine tribal sovereignty, threaten drinking water across, violate private property rights, harm existing jobs in fishing and crabbing, endanger the health and safety of communities, and become the largest climate polluter in Oregon.

The State of Oregon has ruled on multiple occasions that this project does not comply with state regulations that protect our clean water, coastal resources, and communities. Additionally, under the Obama administration, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) ruled that Jordan Cove LNG was not in the public interest. This project is not in the public or national interest and you must not overturn Oregon's Coastal Zone authority.

Please do not allow this Canadian fossil fuel corporation to trample Oregon's regulatory authority and Southern Oregon communities.
