Stop trophy hunters from killing wolves!

Wisconsin allows wolves to be hunted in some of the most brutal ways. Trophy hunters in the state are allowed to dynamite wolf pups in their dens. They can choke wolves to death and send hunting hounds after the precious animals.

And wolf hunting in Wisconsin isn’t just encouraged – it’s mandated by law. But it doesn’t have to be this way. If the Fish and Wildlife Service gives wolves Endangered Species Act protections, the animal will be protected from trophy hunters in all states. But this will only happen if you act now.

To the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service,

I am writing to urge you to end the Trump administration's policy of allowing hunters to enter vulnerable animals' dens and kill wolf pups, bear cubs, and other innocent animals. This rule is especially egregious because hunting is permitted in wildlife preserves, the very places wildlife should be protected. There is no reason for vulnerable animals to be hunted in their dens and baited with bacon grease or donuts. There is no reason for hunters to shoot swimming caribou or target animals from the air, all of which the Trump administration chose to allow but which you can overturn.

This is a bipartisan call for change: 79 members of Congress urged the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to retain wildlife protections in Alaska, but the Trump administration steamrolled ahead as a handout to trophy hunters. You have the power to stop these killings, defend wildlife and protect vital species before we lose them for good. Please do your part to end the cruelty. Thank you for considering my opinion and for prioritizing saving the Earth and its inhabitants.
