MIDNIGHT DEADLINE: Stop hunters from killing wolves to extinction!

Believe it or not, it's completely LEGAL for hunters to corral wolf pups and bear cubs into their dens and kill them! And it's all thanks to the Trump administration, who reversed previous guidance to give hunters this handout. Now, things have gotten so dire for vulnerable wolves that there's only ONE left on his own in what was previously strong Colorado habitat!

This inhumane treatment of vulnerable species cannot go on. We all need to raise our voices in defense and call on the Biden Administration to do the right thing. But our petition is closing at 11:59 p.m. and your name is still missing! Please, don't delay:

To the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service,

I am writing to urge you to protect endangered wolf pups, bear cubs and other vulnerable animals. It was bad enough when the Trump administration made it legal to corral baby animals in their dens for "easier" killing. Now, hunters are allowed to use a range of vehicles to help them target these creatures, trap them, and kill them. There is no reason for vulnerable animals to be hunted in their dens, baited with bacon grease or donuts, snared or targeted from the air – all of which is now legal. In fact, experts estimate the population of wolves in Idaho alone could plummet from 1,500 to barely 150.

This is a bipartisan call for change: 79 members of Congress have urged the National Park Service to retain wildlife protections in Alaska, but the Trump administration steamrolled ahead as a handout to trophy hunters. Now, Idaho is following that same lead, and the potential for a state-by-state snowball effect is rapidly growing. You have the power to stop these killings, defend wildlife and protect endangered species before we lose them for good. Please do your part to end the cruelty.
