STOP brutal trophy hunters from targeting and viciously killing innocent bears and their cubs this spring!

Spring season is the time when bears will be awakening from their months-long hibernation without food. Mama bears will have given birth to newborns during this denning season, and they are preparing to greet the world for the first time.

But little do these innocent animals know that trophy hunters will be waiting outside of their dens to MURDER these weakened and malnourished animals as they emerge. Mama bears in search of food to provide their newborns will be shot as soon as they leave their dens, leaving orphaned cubs at the den with little hope of survival.

States are already preparing for black bear hunting season this spring, and we must act NOW if we’re going to protect these helpless and beloved animals. Right now, there are NO federal laws protecting black bears from these cruel murder tactics. Take action immediately to STOP barbaric trophy hunting tactics!

Dear U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service,

Every year, thousands of bears suffer unnecessary killings due to brutal hunting practices. 
 
During hunting season, bears are already vulnerable in the wild. Nursing mama bears and their cubs are especially at risk because the mothers must also provide and care for their helpless babies who cannot fend for themselves. 
 
When bears go into their dens for hibernation, they are seeking safety and security from nature’s elements. It is magnificent that these animals have learned to adapt to the wilderness — but it’s cruel and inhumane that their biggest threat is mankind.
 
Trophy hunters are legally permitted to kill these innocent bears senselessly without purpose or consequence.
 
Your organization is designated to conserve and protect wildlife and their habitats. So, I am calling on you today to take immediate action to defend these vulnerable animals from cruel hunting tactics. The American people and our environment are relying on you to do the right thing and establish necessary policies that restrict and prohibit inhumane hunting practices.
