Grizzly bears are icons of the North American wilderness -- but they could soon be gone. With trophy hunters driving them CLOSE TO EXTINCTION, fewer than 2,000 grizzlies remain in the lower 48 states. Yet some states are working to make it EASIER to MURDER bears.

Bears are running out of time. As you read this, states are working to make murdering grizzlies legal and trophy hunters are closing in. But with your help, we can fight back against the brutal killing of grizzly bears.

Dear US Fish and Wildlife Service,

Grizzly bears are at risk of having their federal Endangered Species Act (ESA) protections removed in states like Montana, Idaho, and Wyoming -- where many of these beloved animals call home.

There are less than 2,000 native North American grizzly bears and removing ESA protections would be detrimental to ensuring their recovery.

Grizzlies are already targeted by trophy hunters who savagely bait, trap, and shoot these innocent animals in cold blood. If federal protections are removed, it is likely that these brutal trophy hunting tactics will become even more rampant, and will result in excessive, unregulated killing of grizzly bears.

In order to ensure the recovery of these iconic species, stronger federal protections are absolutely critical, so I’m urging you today to demand that grizzly bears remain protected under the Endangered Species Act in all states before they go extinct and we lose these native North American treasures forever.
