Demand federal protections for gray wolves before these beloved animals go EXTINCT!

Idaho is one of the few states that doesn’t have ANY protections keeping wolves safe from BRUTAL trophy hunters.

As a result, innocent wolves and wolf pups are being slaughtered in droves by some of the most HORRIFIC and VIOLENT hunting methods you can think of — choked to death by snares, mangled by leg traps, shot to shreds by powerful weapons, even dynamited in their dens.

Now, Idaho wants to initiate a new “management plan” that would wipe out 90% of the state’s wolf population, leaving only 500 wolves remaining — and MURDERING the rest.

Gray wolf populations are already vulnerable and reckless overhunting and poaching. Without immediate federal protections, states like Idaho will succeed in passing cruel wolf-killing policies that could send gray wolves to EXTINCTION.

Wolves are counting on us to protect them from being brutally slaughtered by trophy hunters. Will you take action now before it’s too late?

I am writing to you today to urge you to expand federal protections for gray wolves before this nationally treasured animal goes extinct.

The Northern Rockies states that border Yellowstone – Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho – still have no safeguards protecting gray wolves from unnecessary and cruel trophy hunting. In fact, they are proposing policies that would make it even easier for poachers to legally slaughter these mammals indiscriminately.

Idaho just proposed a wolf management plan that would kill 90% of the state’s wolf population and reduce the state’s remaining wolves to just 500 over a 6-year period. This will have devastating and far-reaching consequences for the entire species.

Reckless overhunting and brutal poaching are sending these iconic native animals closer to EXTINCTION. Violent trophy hunters murder these innocent wolves using some of the most horrific and brutal methods imaginable. Moving forward with this plan would result in even more precious wolves being slaughtered without just cause.

Until the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Services expands federal protections of this iconic canine, states like Idaho will succeed in passing these inhumane anti-wolf policies that permit the reckless slaughtering of innocent wolves.

Wolves serve an important role in our ecosystem as critical predators, and wiping them out would be more detrimental than beneficial. I am calling on you to act swiftly in ensuring their safety through stronger federal protections.
