STOP cruel trophy hunting of innocent grizzly bears and cubs!

Grizzly bears are one of our country’s most treasured mammals. But ruthless murdering by vicious trophy hunters has caused this species to decline, and now, there are less than 2,000 native North American grizzlies left in the lower 48 states.

Right now, as mama bears search for food to nourish themselves and their babies, merciless trophy hunters are waiting just outside dens — ready to ATTACK AND BRUTALIZE these helpless animals.

The worst part about these gruesome bear hunts is that in some states, it is completely LEGAL! No animal deserves to suffer the agonizing pain of these sick and tortuous murders.

The Biden administration is proposing new revisions to the Endangered Species Act, and we must speak up NOW to ensure that stronger protections for grizzly bears are included. But we only have until the comment deadline on August 21 to voice our thoughts. Please act now to urge President Biden to defend one of the nation’s most treasured animals before grizzlies are WIPED OUT forever! >>

Thank you for your efforts to restore Endangered Species Act rules that President Trump rolled back under his administration. The ESA is bedrock environmental law that can and should remain as strong as possible.
 
I am writing to urge you to go even further to protect iconic species like grizzly bears. Grizzly bears are at risk of having their federal endangered species protections removed in states like Montana, Idaho, and Wyoming – where many of these beloved animals call home. There are less than 2,000 of native North American grizzly bears and removing ESA protections would be detrimental to ensuring their recovery.

Grizzlies are already targeted by trophy hunters who savagely bait, trap, and shoot these innocent animals in cold blood. If federal protections are removed, it is likely that these brutal trophy hunting tactics will become even more rampant, and will result in excessive, unregulated killing of grizzly bears.

In order to ensure the recovery of these iconic species, stronger federal protections are absolutely critical, so I’m urging you today to demand that grizzly bears remain protected under the Endangered Species Act in all states as well as restore all of the ESA protections undermined by the Trump Administration. This includes reversing the changes that allow the destruction of critical habitats and limits the scope of review for federal actions that can harm species.

Please do everything in your power to strengthen the ESA and fight for our endangered species, land, and communities.
