Monarch butterflies are ENDANGERED and at risk of being WIPED OUT.

A key factor in their devastating decline is toxic pesticides like glyphosate found in Bayer-Monsanto’s Roundup.

Glyphosate is DECIMATING milkweed, a vital plant to monarch survival. This harmful product has also been associated with serious health risks in humans like cancer, reproductive harms, disruption of the gut microbiome, kidney toxicity, and fatty liver disease.

The worst part of all? Bayer-Monsanto has been caught LYING and trying to COVER UP the dangers of its product — manipulating science and evading pesticide regulations!

We cannot allow Bayer-Monsanto’s corporate greed to put the health of our pollinators, people, and the planet at risk all for profit. Roundup MUST be pulled off the market immediately, but it’s going to take every grassroots supporter reading this to stand up to a powerful pesticide company like Bayer-Monsanto.

Dear Bayer-Monsanto, 
 
Many species of pollinators are on the brink of extinction. A key driver of their decline is the toxic pesticides your company manufactures, including neonicotinoids and glyphosate. 
 
When bees are exposed to neonicotinoids, they can be killed directly, and their ability to forage, navigate, fight off pests and disease, and reproduce can be impaired. The EPA has determined that the most commonly used neonicotinoids jeopardize the continued existence of over 200 threatened and endangered species. 
 
Glyphosate has decimated milkweed, the only food source for monarch butterfly offspring. The EPA has determined that glyphosate is likely to injure or kill 93% of the plants and animals protected under the Endangered Species Act. 
 
Pollinators are vital to many ecosystems. Without bees and other pollinators, over 180,000 species of plants would not thrive, including many that provide food and natural resources for humans. In fact, one in three bites of food requires pollination. 
 
I am urging Bayer-Monsanto to take responsibility for the toxic impacts of its products and immediately STOP selling neonicotinoids, glyphosate and other pesticides that pose risks to our pollinators.
