The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service isn’t doing enough to protect mama grizzlies and cubs from brutal trophy hunters. Even in the Yellowstone region, grizzlies are being shot and killed by trophy hunters – and the violence of these acts is reaching new heights. Worse, elected officials in Yellowstone states are aggressively pushing to strip bears of lifesaving federal protections and make it easier than ever to MURDER these majestic creatures without consequence!

We can’t afford to wait and watch grizzlies be hunted to the brink of EXTINCTION. But we’re running out of time to take a stand against ruthless hunters and DEMAND the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service take action! That’s why we’re asking 26 more supporters to help put pressure on the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to protect Yellowstone’s bears before it’s too late!

Although the killing of Yellowstone’s majestic grizzly bears is still unlawful, ruthless trophy hunters are still continuing their senseless violence against this majestic species. Grizzly bear populations and the struggling ecosystems they’re a part of are at serious risk  of having their federal endangered species protections removed in states like Montana, Idaho, and Wyoming — where many of these beloved animals call home.

Grizzlies are already targeted by trophy hunters who savagely bait, trap, and shoot these innocent animals in cold blood. If federal protections are removed, it is likely that these brutal trophy hunting tactics will become even more rampant, and will result in excessive, unregulated killing of grizzly bears.

There are less than 2,000 grizzlies in the lower 48 states, however, and they occupy just 2% of their historic range. Moreover, it took decades of deliberate conservation to get to this point and give grizzlies another chance at survival. Removing protections prematurely could completely undermine those efforts and send grizzlies back to the brink of extinction. 
 
Please, do the right thing for vulnerable grizzly bears and the ecosystems they need to thrive by ensuring that they remain protected under the Endangered Species Act in all states. We cannot risk losing our few remaining grizzlies to more senseless killings and habitat devastation. Thank you for your swift attention to this crucial matter.
