The cruise industry is BOOMING, and that poses a major threat to the last 75 Southern Resident killer whales on Earth. As demand for cruise vacations skyrockets, more mega-sized cruise ships enter orcas’ fragile habitat and dump millions of gallons of human and toxic wastewater directly into our oceans. That means struggling and starving orcas could soon vanish purely for the sake of profit.
Big Cruise plays a key role in driving away orcas’ food supply, threatening their sensitive habitats with pollutants and noise. Unless we take immediate action, its infinite greed could spell the end of these unique pods – and the destruction of ecosystems in the Pacific Northwest.
