BRUTAL TROPHY HUNTERS MUST BE STOPPED: Act before midnight tonight to protect our precious wolves

Right now, several states, like those in the Northern Rockies bordering Yellowstone, are making it even easier for vicious trophy hunters to recklessly SLAUGHTER our beloved wolves. These hunters can legally kill innocent wolves and wolf pups using RUTHLESS poaching tactics – like shooting, trapping, choking, poisoning, running them over with snowmobiles and other barbaric practices. That’s why we’re fighting to protect and strengthen the Endangered Species Act.

Not only is the ESA crucial to protecting vulnerable species like wolves and bears, but it’s key to stopping fossil fuel development from further destroying our environment and harming communities with pollutants.  

We need the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to reestablish and strengthen critical ESA protections for wolves – but they still refuse to act quickly enough to save animals’ lives. That’s why we’re calling on 1,436 more supporters to call on the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to do the right thing. But our petition is closing at 11:59 p.m., and your name is still missing! To the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service,
 
I urge you to protect threatened wolf pups, bear cubs and other vulnerable animals before these magnificent creatures are gone for good.

Right now, trophy hunters are using unregulated hunting zones to knowingly kill federally endangered animals like wolves. These zones are devastating for endangered wildlife even outside their borders because hunters lure the innocent animals away from protected areas to kill them. This practice is to blame for Colorado’s lack of a functional wolf population nearly three decades after the native canines were reintroduced to Yellowstone National Park.

It is simply unacceptable that trophy hunters are able to knowingly murder endangered species and even brag about their exploits with impunity. And it sets a dangerous precedent that cannot be allowed to continue.

I encourage you to use every measure within your power to stop these killings and protect our endangered species before we lose them forever. Only you can protect our vulnerable animals and stop the cruelty.

Thank you for considering my opinion and prioritizing our Earth and its inhabitants over the rights of a minority of hunters who choose to kill precious animals for sport.
