New Montana hunting regulations could endanger the remaining gray wolf packs. Cruel trophy hunters will soon be waiting to BAIT and LURE innocent gray wolves who wander across protected park borders.

No ESA protections for this already dwindling species only pushes them closer to EXTINCTION.

Innocent gray wolves will continue to be viciously slaughtered by cruel trophy hunters using some of the most inhumane and horrific killing methods imaginable — from rapid fire bullets to steel leg traps and choking snares, and even running these helpless animals over with snowmobiles.

The situation is dire and urgent, and time is running out. Defenseless gray wolves are counting on us to be their voice. Will you take action right now to demand stronger ESA protections for this treasured species and help SAVE these beloved animals from ruthless trophy hunters?

In 2022, it was announced that gray wolves would once again be protected as endangered species in most of the country. However, these safeguards do not apply to gray wolves’ critical native range in the Northern Rocky States of Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.

These states permit some of the most barbaric trophy hunting practices. Idaho has removed the limit to the number of wolves that can be murdered by a single person and allows private contractors to financially sponsor mass wolf killings. Montana still allows wolf snaring — an inhumane method of torture that traps and chokes innocent wolves, making them suffer before their deaths.

At the end of the 2022 season, nearly 250 wolves had been killed in Montana, with another 234 wolf deaths in Idaho. These iconic canines have seen the worst persecution in OVER A CENTURY, so I’m calling on you to instate an emergency relisting of Northern Rockies gray wolves under the Endangered Species Act.

Gray wolves are an iconic symbol of American wilderness, and they are culturally significant to the local tribal communities of the Northern Rockies. Not only that, but they also serve a critical role in our entire ecosystem. Please, emergency relist these beloved species before it’s too late.
