ACT NOW: Grizzly bears are in DANGER of being brutally murdered by trophy hunters before hibernation season!

Hunting is the leading cause of grizzly bear mortality. Over the past 11 years, grizzly deaths involving hunters have increased by 3 TIMES! Ruthless hunters are using some of the most violent and inhumane tactics to KILL these innocent animals and WIPE OUT entire bear families.

As these harmless bears prepare for winter hibernation, they will be searching for food to stock up on — which makes them the perfect target for vicious hunters to attack and slaughter them.

If we don’t do more to protect these native mammals, we could soon lose them forever at the hands of merciless trophy hunters and their Big Polluter friends who are aggressively trying to pass legislation that would REMOVE Endangered Species Act (ESA) safeguards for grizzly bears.

Dear U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service,

Grizzly bears are at risk of having their federal endangered species protections removed in Rocky Mountain states like Montana, Idaho, and Wyoming — where many of these beloved animals call home.

There are less than 2,000 native North American grizzly bears in the lower 48 states and removing ESA protections would be detrimental to ensuring their recovery.

Grizzlies are already targeted by trophy hunters who savagely bait, trap, and shoot these innocent animals in cold blood. If federal protections are removed, it is likely that these brutal trophy hunting tactics will become even more rampant, and will result in excessive, unregulated killing of grizzly bears.

In order to ensure the recovery of these iconic species, stronger federal protections are absolutely critical, so I’m urging you today to demand that grizzly bears remain protected under the Endangered Species Act in all states before they go extinct and we lose these native North American treasures forever.
