Tell the National Marine Fisheries Service to OPPOSE fossil fuel development in the critically endangered Rice’s whale habitat! >>

There are fewer than 100 Rice’s whales left. These gentle giants only live in the Gulf of Mexico – but increased fossil fuel development is pushing them to the brink with oil spills and ship strikes that KILL WHALES!

Now, the National Marine Fisheries Service might approve seismic testing – a process of using sonic blasts to detect places to drill for oil – affecting this imperiled whale’s habitat. The noise disturbs Rice’s whales, who rely on sound to navigate, communicate, and hunt. Even worse, it lays the groundwork for more fossil fuel development which threatens coastal communities with oil spills and toxic pollution!

Donald Trump has announced that he’ll pursue a policy of “DRILL, BABY, DRILL!” He won’t prioritize the Gulf communities hurt by offshore drilling – he just wants corporate polluters to get their paychecks. That’s why we need your immediate action to help stop this seismic testing before Trump gets into office.

Stop the next big oil spill to protect communities and wildlife. Send your message to NMFS by 11:59pm TONIGHT!
