The Line 3 pipeline would be similar in size to Keystone XL. Like Keystone XL, it would transport tar sands, one of the world’s dirties fuels. It would cut through over 1,000 miles of wild rice beds, 211 bodies of water, and communities across the state.
Local communities, Indigenous groups, and environmentalists like you across the country are standing up in opposition to Line 3. But it’s going to be an uphill battle to stop it. Minnesota’s new governor is wavering in his opposition. He could cancel the state’s lawsuit and leave the pipeline in the Army Corps’ hands. We must show that there is a vocal majority across the country who oppose this dirty energy project.
