Tell your Senators: Don't confirm anti-environment extremist Neomi Rao to the DC Circuit Court!

Donald Trump has nominated anti-environment extremist Neomi Rao to be a Federal Judge on what may be the second-most powerful court in the United States -- the DC Circuit Court.

Rao has led efforts to roll back protections intended to keep our air, water, and public lands clean -- from the Mercury and Methane Rule to the Clean Power Plan.

But the Senate still has to confirm her -- and some Republicans are wavering in their support. We need your help to stop her from getting the job before it’s too late!

Dear Senator,

I urge you to oppose the judicial nomination of Neomi Rao to the United States Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit.

During her time as Administrator of the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs (OIRA), Rao has led efforts to roll back fundamental environmental protections and misuse the regulatory review process for partisan political purposes.

Rao’s office has also censored language related to the impact of climate change on public health, removing references from EPA reports on the Clean Power Plan and the Refrigerant Management Program.

Rao has spent the past twenty years arguing against environmental and other public protections, disparaging efforts to keep our air and water clean as unnecessary burdens on corporate freedom.

Her long record on this issue, as well as her partisan efforts as the head of OIRA, make clear that she is incapable of serving fairly as a federal judge.

For these reasons, I strongly urge you to oppose the judicial nomination of Neomi Rao to the United States Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit.
