Hungry and weak polar bear cubs can’t survive without our urgent help. They’re falling victim to AGONIZING multi-day swims between tiny patches of sea ice. Rest and feeding are impossible in the vast open ocean. Mother bears can barely survive the ordeal, and they’re forced to keep on swimming while their little ones drown! We can’t let this tragedy keep repeating itself.

That’s why we urgently need you to add your name and DEMAND the Department of the Interior HALT all plans to drill in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.

The American people greatly see the value of keeping our public lands public, rather than selling them off to polluting corporations. We value protecting vulnerable wildlife, like the desperate polar bears currently fighting for survival.

Continued oil and gas exploitation is largely responsible for the suffering of Arctic wildlife and the degradation of the fragile ecosystem they rely on for survival. Take the drowning deaths of polar bear cubs, for example. This tragedy will keep repeating itself, prompting the extinction of vulnerable species and ripple effects throughout the weakened environment.

With the Arctic already warming four times faster than the rest of the world, it’s unthinkable to allow more climate-wrecking oil and gas drilling in this area. Therefore, I urge you to halt all plans to exploit the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge for fossil fuel extraction. Pursuing these plans would decimate wildlife and threaten the lives and livelihoods of local communities. These consequences are completely unacceptable.
